A PASTOR GIVES THE TITHES BACK TO HIS MEMBERS The Bible declares I will raise up Pastors after my own heart...from the beginning I pattern the L-Jireh Ministries after the church in the book of Acts.. I truly believe the purpose of the church is to take care of the members first then help the outside of the body if it can..The Bible declares do good unto all men..especially unto the household of faith.. God didnt send me alot of people with money...I have members thats faithful to God and financially they are barely getting by..As a Pastor it my job to feed them spiritually but I also can feel their need.. God made me a Pastor because he knew my heart...I love people..I would give my last for people. .I feel their hurt...I will cry for and with them! My church has never been about money...I didnt collect any money from my members for nine months.. Still dont pass around a collection plate except on special events..they know where the tithe envelopes are...Dont have to force them to give...knowing the need of my members.... Tuesday while I was working the Holy Ghost spoke to me and said everybody who pays tithe and offering Saturday give it back to them as a sign of my love to them so they can know I am mindful of their struggle.. When I gave the tithe back yesterday. ..tears flowed from the eyes of the members. .one member told me after the service that I was struggling with paying my tithe but God said pay it... I paid it and God gave it back..you just dont know what this has done for my faith...I cant speak for other Pastors but I love my people and rather than save the tithe to buy property and build our own church.
