ATTENTION ALL ROCK AND METAL BANDS ON THE ISLAND OF IRELAND! Later this year, Planet Mosh, a major UK-based heavy metal internet site is going to be launching a new radio show. Tentatively titled ‘The Celtic Connection’, it will be a two-hour programme, broadcast once a month (and thereafter streaming on demand) concentrating exclusively on the metal scene here on the island of Ireland. It will feature a mix of new releases from the best new bands the island has to offer and classic tracks from established acts, past and present. Planet Mosh currently is rated in the top ten UK internet radio sites – up there with Planet Rock, Kerrang!, Bloodstock Radio et al… so, this is an invaluable opportunity for bands from all across Ireland to get their music showcased to a wider audience, not only in the UK but beyond. Obviously, in preparation for the launch of the show, we have gathered together a huge collection of Irish rock and metal – but, we know there is a whole lot more out there… so, if you want your music to be considered for airplay, please get in touch. Each show will be supported by a full online PR campaign via the Planet Mosh site and its multiple social media outlets, and bands will be notified in advance if their material is being broadcast, so you in turn can encourage your fans and friends to tune in and support both the show and yourselves.
