Sad to hear the voice of Grand Island Brad Fossberg passed away today following a battle with cancer. Theres a reason he was the first inducted to the Nebraska Danger Hall of Fame, and the first honored with the United Way Be the One award. Brad was a class act, and community minded. He went to work before sunrise, and often was doing play by play of local sports well into the night. And he still found time to volunteer in the community. Ive spend many hours next to Brad, sitting outside some courtroom, in some county budget hearing, talking football or just talking shop. The community of Grand Island is a better place because of him.
