The World Health Organization has declared Nigeria ebola virus - TopicsExpress

The World Health Organization has declared Nigeria ebola virus free. In fact, the WHO called it a spectacular success. While it is disgusting to see greedy politicians claiming credits for what they did not do, we should NEVER forget the real martyrs who fought ebola virus disease to the last. In a land full of selfish people, they gave the most precious gifts of all: their very lives. In a nation where we forget our legends even before they are buried, it is very important that we do not forget the stories of the late Dr. Stella Ameyo Adadevoh, Nurse Justina Obi Ejelonu and other Nigerian health workers who died to save us all. These Nigerians did not think of tribe, religion or political affiliations when they carried out their duties with dignity, courage and bravery. Now that they are dead and gone, the only thing that we can do for them is to keep their memories alive. I have written comprehensive stories of Dr. Adadevoh (and by extension the Adadevoh family) and also on the late Nurse Justina Obi Ejelonu (please see links below). Take your time to read their stories and tell your kids, tell everyone you know that there are still some Nigerians that we all proud of. May their souls find peace. #Adadevoh #Ejelonu #SelflessImmortals. We must always honour them in our own way. Thank you. naijarchives/ameyo-stella-adadevoh/ naijarchives/justina-obi-ejelonu/
