ATTENTION: KITTY CAT OWNERS!!!!! Sooooo most of you know I am a new cat owner so Ive spent the last couple months enjoying my babies trying to find the best items for them that I can. Food, toys, scratchy thingys, etc. Weeeeeeeeeeeeell, I think something ALL cat owners loathe is cleaning out that litter box. (unless of course you have your kids do it but i didnt like having my lady bug deal with it either) when I did it, I had gloves and a painters mask...it was SERIOUS BUSINESS. LOL I had been looking at maybe a self-cleaning system where it washed the crystals hooked up to the water line O_O, or the self cleaning ones that raked the poo...but upon reading the reviews i was skeptical about getting any of them. Well I was talking to a co-worker that turned me on to this pellet system...I tried it and OMG its sooooo frikken easy and the odor is decreased by 80%. I dont know if its the case with all cats but mine have some POTENT urine. This system uses pellet that the urine passes through to a lower drawer that has a absorbent pad. For one cat you only need to change the pad every 5-7 days and more cat obviously more. (i think the age of the cats plays a part as well) With my two, 5 and 6 yo, I have to change every 2-3 days. And the pellets are dust free and it was sooooo simple to clean out the poo and it didnt feel like a chore. (you only have to change the pellets ONCE A MONTH) I just put the poo and the urine pad in a large baggie (that I purchased inexpensive from Aldi)...LOL. And took to the dumpster. :D Im sure you could double bag some Walmart bags too or however you do it. I replaced that pad....THERE WAS NO URINE in the drawer itself but the pad was saturated COMPLETELY. I am so frikken excited I had to share! (thought about making a YouTube how to video...>_
