An Excerpt from my collection of poems. Still have work to be done though#lol enjoy! GOOD DEEDS One good deed creates ripple effect Neglecting the needy is a great defect Why can’t you hear the cry of the hungry and poor Begging for a little from your stock of more? You have so much that you even have enough to keep They have nothing and so they cry themselves to sleep Please pay attention to the cry of the needy And give them a little portion of the flour you are kneading You have it all but you forget your neighbors God gave you the strength so you can give favors Why not let it go round in merry and pleasures So that pressed down and running over you get in good measures We can change the world but it starts with us Let’s have a focus and purse a course And these words I beg us to please heed. Because a friend in need is a friend in deed
