ATTENTION LIGHTS...AMBER ALERT... #California... An Amber Alert was issued for an 8-year-old boy and 9-year-old girl who were allegedly abducted by their biological mother on Monday in Los Angeles. Police said the mother, Ameenah Freeman, 36, took the children from the 1700 block of West 35th Place. When she didnt return with Emanuel, 8, and Adoniah Freeman, 9, the childrens grandmother reported them missing around 10 a.m. the next day. The kids were last seen around 4:15 p.m. Monday in the Northridge area. Mother has since been seen, but did not have the children with her. Emanuel is described as about 4 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 94 pounds, police said. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with a Mario Brothers picture, black shorts and black sandals. Adoniah is described as about 4 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 97 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink dress and white flowers. Their mother is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black dress and black sandals. Authorities believe Freeman may be driving a 2011 maroon Ford Edge. The alert was in effect for areas including Los Angeles, San Diego, Imperial, San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange counties.
