!ATTENTION! Maybe someone can help me out with this. Before I start, Im not calling out anyone directly bc I have no idea whos job it is. We go to world cups around the world and see signs or billboards in the town (city of the event) advertising the event so the locals know what is going on in their town. Theres ALWAYS a packed house of fans cheering. We come to the last stop of the year in Southern California and not one local in Chula Vista besides bmxers have any idea of the event. An event where we should be bringing out as many kids for the sport even if its just to see the AM race and bring even more rider count to Tyler Browns track. So many top industries guys out to watch the event and to be honest it looks embarrassing as far as fan base so much work put in to making the Chula Vista World Cup look great and no one is there to see it. Why would sponsors want to put money into these events if they show up and no one is there. Id be willing to go around to school and pass flyers out with someone if thats what it takes. Image all the schools around Chula Vista knowing about the event. We could have had at LEAST 25% more people in the crowd. Any thoughts?? Lets hear it. Share and comment. Barry
