ATTENTION SEATTLE PERFORMERS: I am considering starting a live vocal group of about 3 to 5 performers (queens and otherwise) to write and perform original music. Send me a PM if you are interested. This comes after much deliberation about the future of my own career. I will be stepping back a little to focus on select projects. This just means that I will no longer try to do all the things and instead focus my energy and attention. Live performances are more work than lip syncing and take a lot more preparation - so I am only interested in hearing from committed performers. We now live in a world saturated by drag and people are generally looking for more than a traditional lip sync. Performances need to include some production value, humor or live talent. Your experience with live vocal is less important than your willingness and ability to commit, but obviously you should not be tone deaf. Forgive me if any of this sounds prideful - it is not my intention - I am simply realizing that I want to be proactive about the future of my career.
