ATTENTION SELMA BACKGROUND ARTISTS!! SELMA DIRECTOR AVA and Cast Members David, Common, and Oprah (also producer!) are coming to SELMA to honor the citizens of the town SELMA for all their help and support while we filmed this incredible movie last summer. THERE WILL BE SEVERAL SPECIAL EVENTS ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 18, including a commemorative march to the PETTUS BRIDGE beginning at 4:15 pm. We will gather at CITY HALL with Mayor Evans...and then begin our march to the Bridge. Ava especially wanted me to ENCOURAGE ALL OF YOU TO COME PARTICIPATE.
