This position is a partnership funded summer position through Rupertsland Institute, an affiliate of the Métis Nation of Alberta, and the Grande Prairie & District SPCA. To meet the criteria, Métis youth candidates must be from ages 18-30 and returning to school in the fall of 2014. Summer Student Events / Marketing Coordinator Reporting directly to our Executive Director, our Summer Student Events / Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating events, carry out marketing initiatives, and leading our Camp Many Paws Summer Program. Other duties may arise under the supervision of the ED. The Summer Student Events / Marketing Coordinator will also initiate event planning and campaigns, and communications/marketing/media concepts. A plan to obtain a post secondary education with an emphasis on marketing and/or human services, or relatable experience is preferred.
