***ATTENTION TEAM DYESS*** Due to inclement weather and the associated travel risks, Dyess Air Force Base will observe two-hour delayed reporting tomorrow, Dec. 31. Commanders are authorized, at their discretion, to stagger reporting and determine appropriate shift report times for personnel who are mission critical. Civilian personnel who are released by their commanders will be placed on administrative leave, with time cards coded LN for the affected time. The 7th Medical Group clinic will reschedule patients with existing appointments during the delayed reporting period. The dining facility will be open during normal hours of operation, and the Child Development Center will open 30 minutes prior to the delayed report time. All other services activities will observe delayed reporting. While the road conditions are not yet severe, the wintry mix is forecasted to continue and conditions to degrade throughout tomorrow through Thursday. All personnel are advised to minimize travel and use caution if travel is necessary. This release has been coordinated with the 317th Airlift Group, and applies to all Team Dyess personnel.
