The Hellenic Office of Administration (HOA) is accepting applications from Greek applicants to fill 3 Temporary Part Time Positions: A) COOK (Short-order) – 1 position not to exceed June 30th 2015 at the NSA Souda Bay MWR Department. The incumbent will be working 25 hours a week, 5 days per week. Summary of Duties: Short-order cook requires a working knowledge of the methods and procedures relating to food preparation. Prepares hot dogs, hamburgers, steaks, fried bacon, ham, eggs, omelets, hot cereals, french fried potatoes, etc. Prepares and mixes various salads and sandwich spreads. Prepares or cooks canned soups and dishes. Operates a variety of kitchen equipment. Follows safety procedures regarding the operation of equipment to avoid personal injury or damage to the equipment. Prerequisites: 1. Education: Successfully completion of Elementary School. 2. Experience: Four (4) years directly related experience in the required field. 3. Language Skills: Applicants must be able to understand simple oral and written instructions and be able to provide oral and written information in simple terms. 4. All Male candidates must have fulfilled their military obligations or have legally released from them. B) CASHIER / Short-order Cook – 2 positions not to exceed June 30th 2015 at the NSA Souda Bay MWR Department. The incumbent will be working 25 hours a week, 5 days per week. Summary of Duties: Serves as cashier in the MWR Facilities. Receives cash payment for a limited variety of meals and drinks. Runs totals at close of business or at specified periods. Participates in inventories as assigned. Performs the full range of short order cooking. Prepares hot dogs, hamburgers, steaks, fried bacon, ham, eggs, omelets, hot cereals, French fried potatoes etc. Prepares and mixes various salads and sandwich spreads. Prepares or cooks canned soups and dishes. Prerequisites: 1. Education: High School Diploma 2. Language Skills: All applicants must successfully pass an English language comprehensive exam. 3. All Male candidates must have fulfilled their military obligations or have legally released from them.
