ATTENTION: The BBC gets a few things wrong! They do not uncover the fact that the referendum in Crimea is illegal, that human rights are violated there by the Russian occupants, they dont even mention it while covering the referendum, making it seem like there is an actual fair voting going on. It feels like the BBC thinks the referendum is a real referendum and the residents of Crimea actually want to join Russia, while a minority, they emphasize is boycotting the event. Where are the reports about dead people included in the voters lists? Where is information about Russian citizens voting? Why are they ignoring the fact that many districts did not participate in the voting and the election committees were not even formed there! How about the fact that the central election committee of Ukraine blocked Crimeas access to voters information?? This means their voters lists are extremely inaccurate!! What about the Russian troops with guns and in uniforms patroling the peninsula and banners calling to vote for Russia hanging around on the day of voting near the polling stations?? EU and OSCE observers refusing to go to the elections because they violate Ukrainian law! What about the current government of Crimea that represents 4% of population that their party, the Russian Block, got in the 2010 elections? Let alone all the other violations we reported earlier. They say the people here and then in Donetsk do not trust the new government in Kyiv and while they do specify those are just these protesters in the street they are showing, but it is editing in a way that makes one think its the majority of the population that thinks new government does not represent them. Lert alone the fact, that the elections (fair and transparent!!!!!) will be held soon in Ukraine to elect the President (May 25) and then the parliament (date to be set) to let these people elect those who will represent their interest. The ysay nothing about how the new government is about democratic values and Russian occupation is about dictatorship and human rights violations. They say nothing about Russia stopping media freedom in Crimea, how no Ukrainian channels are not being broadcast in Crimea! And this is just off the top of my head.
