ATTENTION UPDATE ABOUT DUNDALK INCIDENT!! The Dundalk man and the young boy that were injured are retained in hospital but reports are that they will be OK Now having read some of the posts on pages where the video was uploaded I was shocked at the disingenuous remarks offered by some people and it saddens me to think that these people are of the mindset that this man had no right to protect his home and his family from uninvited intruders. Now just to clarify the position of the said man with regards to this incident! The private for profit company IW have taken it upon themselves, with the go ahead from the government, to illegally install water meters into the homes of every person in the country. This is despite the fact that these meters are second hand after being removed from places where authorities have banned them for public safety reasons. So they are a danger to health as they emit unsafe radiation. IW workers had already covered this man’s area about 3 weeks before this and did not install one on his property by agreement which is his right and everyone’s right to refuse the installation as it is his property. However yesterday early in the morning while he was out IW arrived in a team of six or seven and began to dig a hole at his front gate which they had verbally agreed not to do weeks previously. His wife being scared and trapped in her home, she could not get out as IW had blocked her entrance gate so she rang her husband who came home. He conversed with these IW workers explaining that they had agreed not to install a meter on his property, the stopcock! Their response was to give vulgar verbal abuse to the man and his family shouting at them to ‘f—k off’ they were putting a meter in whether he wanted it or not! He them asked them to get off his property which they were encroaching by about a metre inside his garden but they refused giving more verbal abuse to him and his family. He then attempted to close his front gates but was physically stopped from doing so by these workers so a pushing scenario then ensued with the man and his visitor getting hurt in the assault that took place. Now some people disagree vociferously that the man was not assaulted however to clarify with some things not seen on camera; the large capping stone on the pillar of his gate was pushed off it mooring and into the man’s chest by these IW workers and this caused his to have suspected cracked ribs: Is this not assault? They also turned a power hose that was connected to their large tanker truck on his legs! Is this not assault? Just to clarify and to reiterate more on the rights of a person and their home – IW is a private for Profit Company, just like any other private company and it has no right to enter a property to install anything except if they have a signed contract with the owner. They are illegally installing these meters without a contract, without permission, and without consent of the owners of houses. This is a fact I had verified with (God save us) legal people, Gardai, and believe it or not Irish Water Supervisor employees and they know that they are operating illegally. However, because plenty of people do not know their legal rights, civil rights, or their rights under our constitution IW work under this premise and in most cases are getting away with their illegal acts. This is because this government gave them permission to do so under the same premise that the people would not know their rights and these very same rogue politicians involved the police force to act illegally to ensure that an illegal was carried out on most people’s homes. People in general respected (past tense) the police force and thought if the police are involved then everything must be above board and legal, however the complete opposite is true. Speaking to a Gardai off the record, they stated that the force was in shambles with no coherent leadership and morale was at an all time low! This is from the horse’s mouth believe it or not. Now to get back to the incident: 1 IW was acting illegally installing a dangerous device into a person’s private home without a contract, without permission, and without consent. IW workers had a verbal agreement with this man not to install a meter into his property but they reneged on it. 2 IW blocked the right of access into the man’s home, another illegal act 3 IW trespassed onto private property without consent of the owner, another illegal act. 4 IW workers assaulted this man, his family, and his visitor on the home owner’s private property, they terrorised everyone there with intimidation and harassment, they verbally attacked him using abusive language), they physically assaulted him with pushing a large cement gate post cap into his chest and with turning a power hose on to his lower torso. The man and his visitor suffered physical injury as well as psychological injury and they both remain in hospital as I write. Now with all of this extra knowledge supplied please look at the video again and tell me that this man was not assaulted or that he had not right to be upset and to defend his home? This was not a protest but a man alone fighting for to uphold his rights and the rights of his family inside his own home and property.
