I have ONE pristine, in the shrink wrap, never been opened, never been played, gonna be a collectors item, copy of Bert Sommers Road To Travel CD for sale on Amazon. The CD was pressed for a limited time and most likely will not be pressed again. I would love to see it go to a genuine, real fan who will appreciate what they have acquired. Regarding this effort by Bert Sommer, the reviewers have commented: This album was originally released in 1968 and was produced by Artie Kornfeld (one of the organizers of The Woodstock Festival of 1969). So, when Artie was helping to get the Woodstock Festival together, it was only natural for him to ask Bert Sommer to perform there, and it was equally natural for Bert to perform several of the songs he had recorded on this album. While there are a couple of Berts Woodstock performances available on audio or video and on YouTube, four of those songs are only available (in their original studio versions) on this album. Apart from its Woodstock connection, this is a fantastic CD all on its own. This album was done in the singer / songwriter style, and to great effect. Bert (who was the singer of The Left Bankes single, Ivy, Ivy) had a great solo voice and style and this is one of his very best albums. This is a 5 Star CD.
