ATTTTENTION!!! 21 years ago I received the shocking news that I was 5 months pregnant with a baby girl. My first doctors appt. I had an ultrasound and I got my first glimpse of her face. I believe in that moment, my heart expanded 1000%. Throughout the years, that baby grew, challenging me to be better, do better, strive for more and always be my truest me. Her smile is a reflection of mine, her caring nature and giving heart identical to the one I carry in my chest through the world. ...through her tiny eyes, I found me. Now this baby is 21 years old, and she is like me looking in a mirror of myself many moons ago except she is MUCH more fearless, daring, true and sure of herself than I was at that age. I am immensely proud of who my baby has become and although she is now 21, know Mommy is always here to talk it out, dance it out, cry it out and laugh it out with you. Joi Davis, You are my first masterpiece. My Mona Lisa, my perfect symphony, you are the living embodiment of every dream and goal I have ever had. I know no matter what happens to me from here, you will always ensure you and your sister carry on my legacy. I love you past the moon to the stars and beyond human exploration.
