AUGUST 12 5th Grade Schedule Pick-up & Orientation at WMS from 9-11 a.m. and 5:30- 7:30 p.m. An orientation session will be presented for students and their families at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the school’s auditorium. AUGUST 13 • 6th and 7th Grade Schedule Pick-up at WMS from 9-11 a.m.and 5:30-7:30 p.m • Juniors/Seniors Schedule Pick-up from 9:00-11:00 in the high school cafeteria. • Sophomores/Freshman Schedule Pick-up from 1:00-3:00 in the high school cafeteria. AUGUST 14 8th grade Schedule Pick-up and Orientation from 11:30 to 2:00 in the high school cafeteria. AUGUST 15 Class assignments posted at Cridersville Elementary and Wapak Elementary at 4:00. Lists will remain posted through the first day or school. AUGUST 18 District Staff Work Day AUGUST 19 Staff Development Day Back To School Celebration (CES&WES 5:30-6:30; WMS 6:30-7:30; WHS 7:30-8:30) Wapakoneta City Schools will be hosting “Back To School” celebrations on the afternoon and evening of Tuesday, August 19th. Each of the district’s school buildings will open its doors for our families to visit, walk through, orientate themselves with those facilities, be greeted by staff, ask questions, locate classrooms, drop off student supplies, and enjoy some social time. AUGUST 20 1st Day of Class for Preschool and 1st-12th Grades Kindergarten Orientation AUGUST 21-22 Kindergarten Students attend one of these days with half of their class. AUGUST 25 First day of school for all Kindergartners
