AUSTRALIANS IN FILM announce judges for the Gateway LA script development prize and make final call for submissions. Australians in Film has secured the support of a number of high profile film executives to judge the Gateway LA script development program, launched last month by the organization. The writing program will support the development of commercially successful, Australian created television and movie screenplays for US and international audiences. Writers have just ten days left to make their submissions to the program with applications due to close on September 12. The judges will announce an Aussie List of up to 10 film and television scripts, from which between one and three winners will be chosen to receive a cash award to facilitate development of the script, a flight to LA, targeted meetings with producers and executives, and table reads.
