AUTUMN As tree stiffens it’s branches, it prepares for the turn of season. With the change, reality grabs hold. Bitter cold days and harsh winds will test the tree’s foundation. Can the tree withstand the elements from which it cannot escape? It is time to be brave, to stand tall. Courage to confront uncertainty shall be it’s greatest challenge. Brilliant colored leaves flutter in the wind, One last dance before they fall to their death. With each departing leaf, the tree whispers secrets of it’s soul. The time has come to face it’s fears, accept it’s imperfections, and acknowledge it’s strengths. The tree’s spirit is free to fly with every leaf that takes flight. Stripped of all security, the tree stands naked. As the leaves lay scattered, the tree realizes that it has lost a part of itself. Yet at the same time, it has gained so much. The tree has discovered that without change there can be no growth. Now it is time to believe… It is time to be true… It is Autumn.
