*****AVERAGE-RATED HELPER DOG!!*****Four-year-old Mugsy doesn’t understand what “home size” means—he didn’t think his home was too small and he doesn’t understand why he has to sit in a crate at Brooklyn ACC. Mugsy seems to have gotten decent care; had no health problems when he got to the shelter, and at 63 lbs., he’s at good weight. He tried very hard to be the perfect gentleman, letting himself be subjected through a pretty intrusive medical exam, and was even seleted as a HELPER DOG to test other dogs! Clearly, Mugsy is comfortable around us humans and dogs alike! But being young, and absolutely handsome, and friendly doesn’t count for much at ACC and they’ve got Mugsy on tomorrow’s euthanasia list. Tonight, this good boy needs a special person who does have room in their house, who can picture Mugsy at their side on long walks through the neighborhood, and who commits to him to find him a great forever home. If you’re that person, step up to foster or adopt Mugsy. But do it now, tomorrow, ACC will make Mugsy just one more great dog who is “gone”.
