***AVERAGE SAFER*** Look at Mickey & those ears! :-) A volunteer writes..." I wish someone had a video camera and filmed us, Mickey and I in the yard...Mickey was leash free in a large pen. I was sitting on a chair.. I called.. Come on baby, come to mama..Mickey ran, as fast as an arrow and landed with his four on my lap, determined to stay and get his due...love, hugs and kisses. What a baby ! Indeed, this is precisely what Mickey is at six months of age. Mickey owned for barely one month was relinquished into our care as his short time owners realized they could not care for and afford a pet anymore. Mickey is said to be friendly to all, including other dogs, ignores cats, is housetrained and excited on the leash. I can add to these excellent comments in general, that Mickey sits and stays on command, listens pretty well and plays wonderfully well with the ball, running and jumping after it and retrieving it RIGHT in my hand! Someone must have taught him and he registered. Smart little boy! Mickey is absolutely gorgeous, a little prince. He is healthy looking, trim and has the most beautiful and well groomed coat. His eyes are lively and naughty. He seems to love to be in the company of dogs, playbowing to most of them and hoping for a real playdate. Who can resist such a gorgeous puppy? I hope you will not and take him home as soon as you meet him." Please step up to foster or adopt!
