AWAKENED WORLD FILM FESTIVAL ..... UNDER THE SAME SUN = 10 Last week I attended the Awakened World Film Festival.... There were over 600 attendees and at least 20 films... So, I will post them over time, and I will start with this one, because it was my favorite. For many, many years I and maybe even you have been praying for and holding a space for Peace in the Middle East. This movie is a story about two business men, one an Israeli and the other a Palestinian. They wanted to work together to create green solar electricity for the Palestinian people, but their families, friends, governments, and nationalities were against them working together. It was actually against the law, as well. Their desire to create money ended up being a friendship and an even more determination to help create peace. Via social media they caused a swelling of unity from the youth on both sides to come out in the streets together for peace. This unity put pressure on the governments to sign the peace treaty to end this separation. I was excited ... thought I had missed this since I do not watch TV. But low and behold, it was a vision of what could happen. So, I really liked this movie. It is a solution for a very huge problem/opportunity in the world, and how we could actually solve this with visioning this result.
