AWAKENING l look for inspiration everywhere; I’ve been here many times before. I know the things I tried to do, In the past didn’t work for me. I tried to resist and stand my ground, Why didn’t I give in graciously? It just caused me more pain, But I couldn’t simply let it be I just didn’t understand at the time, It’s wasn’t just my journey; It was everyone else’s as well Who came into contact with me I wish we could walk away from everything. Time has taught me well and I have learnt, I can’t influence everything. Sometimes, I’m a bystander Watching everything that will be But I do I believe Those I love, those who love me Is a far more important Than anything else could be Sometimes doing nothing at all, Is the best thing you can do.
