There was a report in ET stating low participation of retail investors ....in past decade and shifting the money to the FDs, NSC etc .....which fetches them 8-10% pa...Now the question is that where is all that so called Investor Education initiatives which companies run all round year and tell them to invest when the markets are at the bottom .......I m sure despite all these campaigns the investors is still missing the right TIME to invest......so are these campaigns a Waste of money .? No the campaigns are too general which only says what to do , but not enter the second level of How to do ........investors still dont know basics like EPS, PE, Div yield.......and we expect them to show confidence and invest when the markets are down.......why the hell should they believe if they are not confident enough......
