AWESOME BIBLE CLASS: PLEASE CHECK OUT OUR NEW WEBSITE: rolwaz Scripture from last night: Luke 4:18, Luke 24: 49, Acts 10:34-38, 2 Corinthians 1:18, 1 john 2:18-20, 2 Kings 2:9, John 3: 27-34, John 7: 37, Isaiah 61: 1-7 Good morning it’s about 2 am here in Arizona, up praying and reading the Word and having a good cup of tea with French vanilla creamer and thinking about Bible class , our Pastor Eddie was talking about the Holy Spirit and the important of and the Holy Spirit. This morning I am going to come from one of the scripture that Pastor given last night: Acts 10:38, which says: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the HOLY GHOST and POWER; who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him. Have power to do the works of Christ. Please give your input, as I was reading in my commentary it given an example; the difference between a filling and a baptism or the Spirit by measure and without measure may be illustrated by a glass and a pitcher of water. To extent the water is poured into the glass it is filled, but not baptized. By burying the glass in the fullness of the water it is both filled and baptized. Taking the glass out of the fullness of the water it is no longer, so it is with believers, to the extent one is filled with the Spirit he has the measure of power and can do things according to the degree of anointing he has. If he is merely filled and has the Spirit by measure he is limited in spiritual power. If he has the Spirit in all fullness there is no limitation. He can do the works of Christ and the apostles. A filling always comes with a baptism, but a baptism does not always come with a filling. At Pentecost they were both filled and baptized (Acts 1:4-8: 2:4) and many fillings kept coming to them to replenish the Spirit and power they had received (Acts 4:8, 31, 13:52). One must continue to live and walk in the Spirit and be filled with all of the fullness of God in order to maintain that baptismal fullness. (Ephesians 3:16-20; 5:18; Galatians 5:16-26). I hope that this illustrated help out, but please respond or just ponder in your heart and think about the HOLY GHOST and POWER. Jesus thank u for your Word it has been a light under my feet a lamp unto my path, it was a blessing to have the Pastor to share your Word with us so we can study and show our self-approved workmen in the Lord. Jesus help me divide your Word in truth and correct any mistakes as I proceed to study for I just want to serve u, and keep me anointed hand upon us all. May I be a blessing to someone. Amen
