He was picked up from his residence somewhile ago. He will be charged as king-pin of the plot. Three non-journalist employees, Ranjit Chowdhury, manager, Balaram Ghosh, driver, and Sujit Bhattacherjee, proofreader were strangulated and stabbed in their office when Sushil Chowdhury was present there as it has been his residence too. He claimed soon after the murders that he was the target, but in the same breath said he did not have any enmity with anybody. He also announced cash prize of Rs 10 lakh for giving information about the assailants. Sushil argued that the howl he heard when the murders were going on he took it for television sound. Slain driver wife Niyati Ghosh was arrested earlier and she will be produced before the court later this evening as she spent seven days of police remand in two terms. Niyati and her daughter are only two eye witnesses of Balaram and Sujit’s murder.
