Aaniin nigitchiaanishinaabeg (Hello my precious people). Weweni igo (Warning)!!! If one more person asks me where to pick berries, I am leaving them in the woods! Ha ha! You pick berries with your eyes, in the Spring. Watch the succession of blooms to know where to go later. Saskatoon-blueberry-pincherry...and now raspbarry done. Today the chokecherry trees are loaded down and at their absolute, beautiful peak! Waiting to fall into your bucket. P.S.-will trade jam for deer meat. Ha ha.
