Excerpts on behalf of ASIRT by president ========================== Strengthening the ‘hope’ of upliftment of the IT industry Kshitij M Kotak, President, ASIRT points out the beneficiary decisions which the coming government might take for industries- ‘’We are sure to see the implementation of policies which will relieve the hassle of interstate dealings and tax structure,’’ says Kotak If industry experts are to be believed then the last government did nothing to encourage the SMEs and harassment of vendors by the government authorities took place in full swing in the last five years which has made the industry hunt for a better ruling option. ‘’We are sure that in the era of the coming government Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) will get 75 percent reservation in procuring government tenders for services which will reduce the dependency on foreign vendors drastically,’’ adds Kotak.
