Abdullāh ibn Masūd (RA) narrates that Rasūlullāh Sallallāhu alaihi wassalaam asked me to recite the Qurān; I submitted: Shall I recite the Qur’ān to you while it has been revealed to you? He (sallallāhu ‘alaihi wassalaam) said: I like to hear it from someone else. So, I recited to him Sūra An Nisa, and when I came to the Verse: So how (will it be) then, when We bring of every people a witness; and we shall bring you O Muhammad, a witness against these people? 4:41 He (sallallāhu ‘alaihi wassalaam) said: Stop, I saw tears were rolling from his eyes. [ Bukhari ] ______ Subhan’Allāh, look at the love of Muhammad sallallāhu ‘alaihi wassalaam for His Ummah, that with this, it brings tears to his eyes. This hadith have been hovering my thoughts for the past few hours now, does this not overwhelm your heart? His Heart for His Ummah. O Allāh :’) Indeed, you have sent us the Best of all your creations, May His Light stay enlightened in our hearts and may we abide and follow His actions with a sincere heart, keeping in mind that we have understood well why we do such actions.
