Abigail came home and told me the craziest, most heart-breaking story today. Apparently she and 2 of her friends were getting ready to go out for recess, and when they stepped out of the cloak room, one of the little boys in their class, who is 9 years old, had just slit his wrist with a pair of scissors. One of the girls stayed with him and talked to him while Abby and her other friend ran for help. He told the little girl that stayed with him that he doesnt want to live anymore. He had to lay on the floor to keep from passing out. Abby says that hes in and out of foster care, but obviously, someone is missing something here! A 9 year old child doesnt try to kill himself unless something is seriously wrong in his life! I wish I could hug the little guy and tell him that everything is going to be alright. :( Poor, poor little boy!
