Abigail had a wonderful visit with Dr. Holland yesterday. He just shook his head in amazement at the progress shes made! He wants to wait until November to see her again, well plan the cornea transplant then. He thinks we can cut back on the dosage of immune suppressants, but her nephrologist makes the final decision on that. We have more blood work Monday morning, then we will check with them and see. It would be WONDERFUL to cut back on the meds. She handles it SO WELL, but they make her feel terrible most days. Not to mention, if she stays on high dosage it will likely lead to more medications (cholesterol, diabetic, acid reflux, etc.) due to side effects. So, please keep her in prayer. I may just break out in cartwheels if they lower them... and anyone that knows me well, knows Im no gymnast!
