About 2 years ago, the check engine light came on in my Toyota - TopicsExpress

About 2 years ago, the check engine light came on in my Toyota Tundra. Cost $362 to have the Toyota Dealer replace an oxygen sensor and turn the light off. About a month ago it came on again. This time I ordered my own check engine code reader and got the code myself. Another oxygen sensor. Researched it and replaced it myself this time. Total cost of $85, including the code reader, special socket and the sensor, all from Amazon. About the equivalent job of changing a spark plug. Not being a mechanic, I am thankful to God I was able to do this myself. I am also amazed at what the dealership can charge for such a job..........
