Biography Motivated by a love for Christ and the determination to spread the gospel message through musical expression; Derrick Wright conceptualized his group Driven in 2010. As the son of the late great Reverend Timothy Wright, it was important for him to continue the legacy of contemporary gospel music his father instilled in him and his brothers as children. Driven is comprised of talented vocalists and skillful musicians that are ignited and passionate about carrying the message of Christ through song. Collectively, they create a sound; a sound that is the right blend of traditional gospel rhythms mixed with a modern vibe that will compel its listener to submit their lives, and praise to God.
