About once a week or so I receive an email like this one- Mr. Harada. I wanted to get in touch with you because I am a 30 year old Naval Officer who was just diagnosed with ALS last week. I wanted to let you know that your story has given me a lot of hope over the long drawn out diagnosis process. Its been a blessing reading about you. Each one of these breaks my heart and honestly brings a tear to my eye. I dream of the day that I no longer receive these emails because a cure for everyone has been found. Until that day these emails serve as fuel for my passion to advocate for all ALS patients now and in the future. As I have repeatedly communicated to the FDA, talk is cheap, we can not confuse effort with results, it is time to see tangible changes that produce real results. **please read my comment below to truly understand the essence of what I am trying to express.
