About once every seven to ten days I have a dream that simply cannot be explained. I could give you about one-third of the plot but the remaining two-thirds aren’t events that can be observed, but experiences so mystical, so endless, so indescribable I immediately realize the frailty of the English language—any language for that matter—to convey the sensations and sights. And I am left as I am left now: puzzled, exalted and exceeded. And I wake up, as I always do, to the shock of still being in my physical body. “Oh, right. I’m in this.” There, Fate is a game of checkers. I can’t wait to go back.
