About this time, on a Saturday morning, 35 years ago, I was once again feeling contractions but didnt take them too seriously since I had spent the previous Saturday at the hospital in FALSE LABOR. But THIS time it wasnt a test run. About 1:16 PM on Saturday, October 21, 1978 (12 days AFTER the due date), we welcomed our second little girl into the Price family. Julia Rikard Price has been our winding stem, our officer of stray pet acquisitions, our star, our cause fighter, our table decorator and place assigner, our afficianado of food essence, our social awareness leader, our polestar for decisions, our caregiver in tough times, and MY personal shadow. I thank God for my Hoolie but most of all...for butterfly kisses! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JILL WIKARD PWICE-JOOLAH! And thank you for coming to our lives.
