Absolutely fascinating talk about how sitting is killing us. I think we know this but the data is very compelling. And working out for 30 minutes a day is not enough to counter the effect of sitting. In fact, even a short term sit, like I am doing right now, affects triglycerides and insulin sensitivity. The message. Stand whenever you can. Take quick walk breaks. Try to get 10,000 steps. Move whenever you can.
