Academic Retrospection! On political neutrality, any political unit in public administration stands in a position to implement laws, policies and regulations concerning unbiased execution of its laws and resolutions directed from the upper echelon of governing body. It assures uniformed fair treatment to all members of government agencies notwithstanding of the political colors they represent. Political neutrality applies to a government organization with different political affiliations occupying cognizant positions in the government. Public servants and political officials serving the citizenry under a progressive platform of public service, without prejudice to their political advocacy, then, a healthy political neutrality exist. In the civilian aspect of the government, there is a separation between the religious sector and state. The same direction is treated with the military arm of the government in treating with the populace. Civil authority is deemed supreme over the military authority whereas it assumes a neutral stance as provided by the constitution and as directed by the head of the state. In an overhead view, relative to political neutrality, a certain country can adopt political neutrality and opt not to meddle in a conflict of other two nations. As a neutral country, a nation can offer the peaceful utilization of its ports and other facilities to either of the two warring countries on certain conditions or restrictions as the case may be.
