(HOMETOWNLIFE.COM) The article was entitled EUREKA! Students learn how to have fun with math. A suburban school system implemented a creative way to introduce math equations, such as Pythagorean Theorem which can be written in one short equation: a2 + b2 = c2. The Quadratic Formula was also introduced in this 2 act play. Students were entertained and able to improve their math scores. This concept should at least be introduced in the Detroit Public School System, with an effort to make annual ACT/SAT scores competitive region wide. The budgeting cost of the play, noted at approximately $4500 can be earned through fundraising. I have many more innovative ideas that could benefit Detroit public school students!
