According to a study by Stop Street Harassment, about 1 in 4 men experience street harassment at some point in their lives. About half said they feared the situation would escalate into something worse. The most common scenarios are being harassed by a lone man or by a group of men. Harassment most commonly starts at around the ages of 13-17, and 79% of men who are harassed are harassed more than once. While men arent as harassed as much as women are (65% of women), these numbers are still too high to leave men out of the discussion on street harassment.
