Accounting Clerk , Montego Bay This position carries the following key responsibilities (not all inclusive): Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records; Accurately update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions. Enter data into DMS (ADP) Compile data and prepare a variety of reports; reconciles records as necessary; Receiving and processing customer payments in a timely, accurate and friendly manner; Participate in organizational and departmental programmes to fulfill strategic objectives. REQUIREMENTS: a minimum of three (3) years experience in the field of General Accounting (as a Junior Accountant); accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task; top flight communications/interpersonal and critical-thinking skills; computer literacy and functional knowledge of MS Office esp Excel, cash management, detailed knowledge of financial and accounting principles; deadline oriented, flexible with change; team conscious and can demonstrate experience in adding organizational value; Diploma in Accounting or equivalent (Level 1 Cert. – ACCA) * Please be guided by the requirements stated to gauge whether your application will be successful or not. **Only short-listed candidates will be interviewed. *** No third-party applications will be accepted.
