Accounting Manager Local: Embu / SP - EMPRESA: Multinational Company in the Machines and Equipments Responsabilities: The Accounting Manager will have as main activities: Hire a strong Accounting Manager able to challenge and revise all processes, to reorganize the Accounting team and propose new orientations to lean the actual Accounting and Tax organization; Get a person with good tax knowledge able to challenge tax reports and to give new tax orientations; Focus him first on structuring, cleaning, reshaping the whole Accounting and tax environment (practices, people, tools, processes); Restructuring of Accounting team (consult tax set up, Competence, hirings); Implement proper accounting method, processes and tools; Implement proper set up for Tax management as this area is critical (impacting our profitability); Strong involvement in LN modification projects in order to make sure that the accounting system is properly reflecting the business and consistent with Group rules; Ensure compliance with local financial legislation, and Group policies & procedures; Manage External auditors relationships. Qualification: The candidate that will occupy the Accounting Manager position must be Graduated in Accounting and fluent in English. He/she must know ; Brazilian tax rules, computerized accounting programs, accounts payable; & receivable, preparation of financial statements, preparation of financial & business reports and analysis and ERP principles, and it is recommended that he knows the IFRS accounting principles.
