The Role We are currently looking for an accounts professional with an eye for detail and a passion for numbers! In conjunction with a small Finance team you will be expected to assist with procedures and system improvements to increase efficiency in the business and streamline accounts processes. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager. Other responsibilities and accountabilities include but are not limited to: A/R: •Cash receipt entries •Credit card payment processing •Payment collections & overdue notice follow-up •Issuing statements •Processing credit account applications and credit account control •Responding to emails from customers, effective communication with customers and sales teams. A/P: •Processing invoices and expenses •Preparing payments and recording payment entries. •Accounts payable/receivable ledger reconciliation and preparation of reports •Bank reconciliation •Monthly credit card reconciliation. Essential Criteria •2 years previous experience in a similar role •Strong organisational skills with good time management and planning •Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel skills •Excellent communication skills, both written and oral (in English) •High attention to detail and accuracy.
