Ace: They saved my life Professor. The Doctor: Dont thank them yet. You might live to regret it. Ace: What are they? The Doctor: Cybermen. A comet circles Earth, coming into its orbit every 25 years. Each time it passes, it brings with it, impending disaster. In 1668, Lady Peinforte was alerted to something falling out of the skies and crash landing in the meadows outside her house. She discovered a living metal, of which she carved into a statue, an image of herself, and named it Nemesis. The statue explained from where it originated, and of the time of chaos on the planet of Gallifrey, and the being known as The Other. The Doctor however was able to deny Lady Peinforte her desire, and launched the Nemesis into space, out of her reach. In 1988, the Nemesis is returning. The Doctor and Ace find themselves pitted against three antagonistic factions; a group of neo Nazis, Lady Peinforte, and a fleet of Cybermen all battling for control of Nemesis. Lady Peinforte however bears a bitter grudge, and the Doctor finds himself in a lose- lose situation: Hand over Nemesis to Lady Peinforte, and he loses his power. Or give the Nemesis to the Cybermen and risk Peinforte exposing his true identity... Originally titled Nemesis, it was renamed Silver Nemesis to reflect ( no pun intended ), the return of the Cybermen. Part one aired on November 23rd, 1988, and was the designated 25th anniversary story. Silver Nemesis alludes to the legend of The Other ( part of a back story which originated in Remembrance of the Daleks ( the Target novel includes flash back sequences not alluded to in the televised version ), and a story Id like to feature sometime For time purposes, I cant include Dimensions in Time, but Ive asked admin Sofia, wholl post up an album later. ~ Vin.
