Achievements of Pakistani Womens Cricket Team Note: Our Womens Team has yet not been recognized by PCB and The concept of Womens cricket was first introduced in Pakistan by sisters Shaiza and Sharmeen Khan in 1996. They were subsequently met with court cases and even death threats. The government refused them permission to play India in 1997 and ruled that women were forbidden from playing sports in public due to the religious issues. They donot get the previliges or training like male players. A very interesting fact: There is no spot-fixing scandal on any Pakistani Lady in cricket. Nor they had ever been subject to any immoral activity or affairs, unlike male players of Pakistan Cricket Asian Games 2010:Pakistan Women Team Won gold medal in Asian Games 2010 in Guangzhou, China. Test cricket Highest team score: 426 runs for 7 wickets declared against the West Indies, on 15 March 2004 at the National Stadium in Karachi in Pakistan. Highest batting score: 242 runs, Kiran Baluch against the West Indies, on 15 March 2004 at the National Stadium in Karachi in Pakistan. Best bowling figures: 7 wickets for 59 runs, Shaiza Khan against the West Indies, on 15 March 2004 at the National Stadium in Karachi in Pakistan. One-Day Matches Best bowling figures in a match: 13 wickets for 226 runs, Shaiza Khan against the West Indies, on 15 March 2004 at the National Stadium in Karachi in Pakistan. One Day Highest team score: 258 runs for 5 wickets against the Netherlands, in oct 2010, South Africa Best batting score: 69 runs, Mahewish Khan against the Netherlands, on 14 April 2001 at the National Stadium in Karachi in Pakistan. Best bowling figures: 7 wickets for 4 runs, Sajjida Shah against Japan, on 21 July 2003 in Amsterdam in Netherlands. All these achievements were without any official or government help! There is no lack of talent in Pakistani Women, so kindly stop idolizing models and actresses and pay tribute to real life heroines of Pakistan!
