"Achieving a Higher Position Through Continuous Development In a crude state, all humans are uncivilized. We have reached our current human state through a sustained gradual development. It did not just happen in an instant. Our ambitions and our striving for ever better circumstances have led to corresponding attitudes and mental states. When we make an effort toward a righteous goal, destiny favors us and God showers us with blessings. Our persistent desire to elevate our existence has brought the human race to a state wherein man may well be called the crown prince of the entire creation. Still, despite all this progress, we continue to be ridden with negative habits and patterns which, while perhaps justifiable in our previous less civilized incarnations, can only bring us harm.
