Action Plan of Rs.214.80 lakhs under CSSs approved in Kupwara KUPWARA, A joint meeting of officers of Agriculture department and its allied sectors was held at Kupwara under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Kupwara, who is also the Chairman of Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSSs) in Kupwara district along with the concerned committee members held here to discuss various issues with the concerned committee has given approval to Rs. 214.80 lakhs as proposed Action Plan for 2014-15 under National Food Security Mission (NFSM), Mission on Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) and Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA). The District Development Commissioner impressed upon the concerned agencies and its allied field functionaries to implement the schemes formulated for the farming community in latter and sprit as per the guidelines of the government during the current farming season under the proposed action plan. Earlier, the Chief Agriculture Officer, Kupwara Mr. Farooq Ahmad Rather briefed the meeting about the formation of various committees for implementation of the schemes under various Agriculture and its allied sectors under the guidelines of the government. The Chief Planning Officer who was also present in the meeting while taking to Kalmoona Times informed that each heads of the sectors are being allocated Rs. 5 lakhs for farming and other activities like training, machinery and awareness camps for the field functionaries and farmer community. The concerned District, Sectoral officers, representatives of farming community and NGOs were present in the meeting.
