"Action breeds confidence and courage." How true this is. Just think if each of us could tackle our fears with the same passion we go after what we love to do. It is amazing how I can set my fear aside a little bit each day as I try to re-learn what once came so effortlessly to me. A little fear keeps me from being reckless. Too much fear paralyzes me and blocks the exhilaration of overcoming, climbing over or climbing under obstacles. This maybe why I have such a hunger to learn how to jump Beau again. I will never feel like I can head towards any high jumps. Still, no matter how low, each small jump teaches me to combine trust, knowledge and action. Soon I maybe able to apply the same confidence to the small problems that annoy me but I fail to face head on. When I was younger, I believed that if you throw your heart over a fence, your horse would follow with confidence. I have been so fortunate to have owned two exceptional horses that love to jump, even without a rider. It is just a small goal that I will protect and nurture each day. Beau and I are going to enjoy this freedom together. I see such trust in his brown eyes. Animals must be one of Gods greatest creations. Imagine a world without all of the creatures and beloved pets that are family to us. I cannot imagine such a barren world. I am so thankful for those individuals that dedicate their lives to the care and wellbeing of those animals that fill our hearts and lives with such love and happiness.
