Actively pursuing ways to keep my New Years resolutions intact, I decided to seek out some vegetables and found some at Tobys Little Italy, 3523 49th St N, Saint Petersburg, in the Disston Plaza Shopping Center. My vegetables were attached to an Italian sub which happened to be one of the best Italian subs Ive had (yes, I liked it better than Smileys & Simply Delicious)! Her Highness had a steak and cheese with onions sub and we shared some garlic knots. Now I used to go to this place back in 75/76 when I was in high school and forgot how good it was. Colonial Corner was our place to get cheesesteaks and Jojos downtown(now closed) had our favorite garlic knots. Not anymore! Little Italy was delicious and people were lined out the door to get in. Next time we try the pizza. If you havent tried this place put it on your to do list, you wont be sorry!
